09/04/2025REACTION REGARDING HATE MESSAGES TOWARDS CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS ILIĆ AND KONATAR

The public space is a responsibility we all share, and there is no room for messages of hate in it!
The state has a duty to prevent and suppress every act of violence that occurs on its territory. Tolerating hate speech—especially when directed at civic activists—is a particularly dangerous way of normalizing systemic and cultural violence.
This is not the kind of society we consent to. We demand zero tolerance for hate speech.
We join the call for the perpetrators to be swiftly and effectively prosecuted.
We urge the Secretariat for Communal Affairs of the Capital City, the Communal Inspection, and the Housing Agency (HRA) to take immediate action today to remove the offensive graffiti from the building façade!
