NGO Human Rights Action (HRA) is implementing a project within the regional initiative “Equitable Access to Justice for Children in the West Balkans States”, which has been implemented in Montenegro and Albania, with the technical assistance of UNICEF and financial assistance of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway since January 2019. It is a two-year initiative aimed at creating conditions for the implementation of child-friendly justice procedures that take into account the child’s opinion and take into account his or her best interests.
As part of this initiative, we have decided to design and develop guidelines for the protection of children’s rights in a way that is appropriate for children in elementary school, in the form of a comic book, which through an interesting story would present a problem with a suitable solution.
