Camović Veličković already has significant experience working in the RTCG Council, where she previously held the position of Vice President. During her earlier term, she responsibly pointed out irregularities and illegalities in the work of the public broadcaster, and with a particularly important role in insisting on legal compliance during the selection of the RTCG Director General. She refused to participate in the unlawful election of the RTCG leadership, an act that was later confirmed as illegal by final court rulings. Camović Veličković is also a witness in proceedings before the Basic Court in Podgorica against several RTCG Council members accused of abuse of office. Her previous engagement in the Council was a critical voice in defending principles of professionalism, ethics, and public accountability.
