On the occasion of the International Day against Fascism and Anti-Semitism, which will be marked tomorrow to commemorate the beginning of holocaust against Jews during the World War II, Human Rights Action submitted an urging letter to the Ministry of the Interior for free access to information about the prosecution of cases of stoning buses with fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia sports teams, vandalism and hate speech and offensive graffiti print based on nationalism, which occurred in Montenegro last year, and this year again, because the public has to date remained deprived of the information whether these cases were prosecuted, and whether anyone was punished.

We asked information on the following cases:

– stoning of a bus with fans of BiH and Croatia sports teams on 9 August 2012 in Branelovica;

– stoning of fans of sports team “Hajduk” from Split, on 26 July 2013 in Budva;

– vandalism and hate speech caused by writing offensive graffiti on game room “PC Sar“, owned by Al-Mustafa family, on 19 March 2013;

– writing hate speech graffiti on the wall of elementary school “Drago Milović” in Tivat, in March 2012;

– vandalism and hate speech caused by writing offensive graffiti on the mailbox of the Croatian Civil Initiative, on 21 March 2013 in Tivat;

– writing graffiti “Move out, gypsies” in front of the flat of Bahtijar family, on 28 May 2013 in Podgorica.
