Human Rights Action (HRA) condemns the stoning of a bus carrying supporters of the Socialist People’s Party (SPP).

We noted that increasingly aggressive election speeches apparently initiate hatred and incidents in practice.

HRA reminds that the Constitution of Montenegro prohibits infliction or encouragement of hatred or intolerance on any grounds, including political affiliation.

We expect from the authorities to urgently find persons responsible for the bus stoning and prevent further violence.
