HRA submitted today the Supreme State Prosecutor of Montenegro, Ivica Stanković, and the Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnić the request for free access to information, urging the Prosecutor’s Office to disclose the charges which were filed on 8 September 2015 against Goran Radenović, Director and Editor-in-chief of television ‘Pink M’, on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense of False reporting, which was recently the focus of media attention.
HRA hopes that the Prosecutor’s Office will comply with our request and continue with the recently introduced good practice to publish charges online, which is of great importance for the transparency of the process of prosecution and adequate information to the public.
