The attack against LGBT Forum Progress activist is an unfortunate consequence of the clear message that the State Prosecutor’s Office and the Police have been sending to the perpetrators by not punishing previous public expressions of hatred towards sexual minorities.

The Police and the Prosecutor’s Office have been turning a blind eye to violence, before, during and in the aftermath of Pride parades organized in Montenegro.

These troublesome events, that make Montenegro the laggard of Europe, will continue until it becomes obvious that the state authorities seriously and consistently punish all violence and all propaganda of hatred towards sexual minorities.
