announce a
PUBLIC CALL
for a workshop on civic education and human rights
intended for elementary school pupils from Ulcinj, Bijelo Polje, and Cetinje
Human Rights Action (HRA), Centre for Civic Education (CCE)and ANIMA invite all interested pupils of the 7th, 8th and 9th grades from Ulcinj, Bijelo Polje and Cetinje to apply for participation in interactive workshops on civic education and human rights.
These four-hour workshops provide young people with an opportunity to learn about the basics of human rights, democratic values, and the importance of active citizenship through work with experienced lecturers. The workshops will be conducted through discussions, practical exercises, and simulations to further encourage engagement and peer-to-peer exchange of ideas.
Workshop dates and locations:
- 12 May – Ulcinj
- 14 May – Bijelo Polje
- 29 May – Cetinje
The number of participants per city is limited to 30, so don’t wait to apply!
All interested pupils of the 7th, 8th and 9th grades from the listed cities are eligible.
To apply you only need to fill out a short form with basic information.
The application deadline is 7 May 2025 at midnight.
Selected participants will be notified with further details about the workshop.
The project “Enhancing Civic and Human Rights Education: Educational Reforms for a Stronger Democracy” is implemented by CCE, HRA, and ANIMA as part of the programme “Strengthening Citizens’ Trust in Institutions and Building Resilient Communities”, carried out by UNDP, UNICEF, and UNESCO in cooperation with the Government of Montenegro. The project is funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
