10/11/2016 STRUGGLE FOR TEACHING ASSISTANTS CONTINUES: 15 NGOs WROTE TO THE GOVERNMENT AGAIN

After the initial appeal for permanent and sustainable resolution of the problem of engagement of teaching assistants for children with special educational needs, sent to the Government on 29 September by the group of NGOs for human rights, another letter on the same subject was sent yesterday to the Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, Minister of Education Predrag Bosković and Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Boris Marić. The letter points out that in the meantime nothing has been done towards a permanent solution of the problem, but that in practice schools acted contrary to the proposals of NGOs and led to an unjustified distinction between children with special educational needs.

For more details please read a letter (in Montenegrin) and help to remain this important issue in the focus of public attention and attract the attention of those who are responsible to provide the right to free inclusive education.
