8/6/2015 – MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION FOR JUDICIAL REFORM MONITORING PROJECT SIGNED

Memorandum on cooperation for “Judicial Reform Monitoring Project” between the Ministry of Justice, NGO Human Rights Action and NGO Center for Monitoring and research – CeMI has been signed today.

By signing the Memorandum, the Ministry of Justice committed itself to provide access to documents, information and reports relevant for evaluation of implementation of the judicial reform strategy and action plan for its implementation, and in cooperation with Human Rights Action and the Center for Monitoring and Research organize two national conferences on judicial reform, collaborate on thematic studies on topics such as application of the principle of random allocation of cases, implementation of the Law on the protection of the right to trial within a reasonable time, of the right to official defense and the rationalization of the court network.

“Judicial Reform Monitoring Project” is carried out with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro through “IPA 2013 Civil Society Facility Montenegro” programme and the Embassy of Netherlands. The project will be implemented until 15 August 2016.
