HRA executive director, Ms Tea Gorjanc Prelević sent a letter today to the Special State Prosecutor, Ms Đurđina Nina Ivanović, in response to her public statement that citizens and NGOs are wrongly directing their complaints to the state prosecutors, and that the leading role of the prosecutor during the preliminary investigation is misinterpreted, so that the detection of criminal offenses and perpetrators is too easily assigned to the authority of state prosecutors.
